The build quality and detail on this is incredible, also this thing is incredibly comfortable I have a 7 1/8 hat size and it fits like a glove your head goes all the way into the top of it and the visor lines up. All in all and happier with this than any of my Black series helmets that are way too tight.The only thing I really want to do is maybe open up the backing behind the mouth area and put in some mesh so it's easier to breathe.

First the good... 1) the helmet is gorgeous, 2) very sturdy and well made, 3) very comfortable to wear with padding inside, 4) packed well, 5) arrived quickly, 6) everything on the helmet is ENGRAVED it is not some cheap sticker, 6) the battle damage and cracks are very well done. The bad (or not so okay). 1) the paint is not the best Ive seen. You can even see this if you zoom in on the production pics. Some parts the paint is very sloppy or doesnt completely fill in the lines. HOWEVER, I paid $61 for it so I dont really care. I happen to enjoy painting things so putting on some painters tape, and straitening some lines (or retouching here or there) doesnt bother me that much. 2) does not come with any art box (just plain cardboard box). All in all I gave it 4 out of 5; just for the not so great paint work... but again if you have black, silver paint and a brush it is nothing you cant fix.

I freely admit I'm not a high end cosplayer. I admire the folks who have costumes up to the standards of the 501st. I don't have the time or money for that, though I'd love to! For me, I want something to wear for occasional cosplay and display the rest of the time. This fits the bill perfectly, without breaking the bank. You can get much more detailed helmets and spend 5X what this cost me. But it's just not worth it for my needs. The other helmet I looked at was the Hasbro Star Wars The Black Series Clone Captain Rex 1:1 Scale. I decided to try this because of reviews and videos online. SO glad I did. I've looked at both now and I think this is the better helmet for several reasons:1. It's resin, not plastic. It feels more substantial but not really much heavier. It feels better in the hand and on my head. Just a better, well made feel to it.2. Details are molded into the helmet. The ones on the Hasbro are painted on. It's a subtle but significant look in my opinion. This one looks and feels better, as you run your hand over it. The battle damage feels more tangible. This one is an off white that looks worn and used. The other one is a shiny white that looks newly made.3. This one is just a smidge smaller. It looks better on my head than the other one did. It's a small detail, but I could tell the difference in the mirror. However, if you have a large head, the other one might fit better. I wear a large size hat, but the actual size is 7 1/4 for a hat, just for reference. The padding inside is well made and comfortable. Not tight on my head and easy to see out of.If you want a great looking helmet, this is certainly one to look at.

I got two of these helmets—one for me and one for my son—and we absolutely love them! The fit is just right and incredibly comfortable, making them perfect for extended wear. They offer excellent visibility, which is a huge plus for helmets like these.They’re also very functional—you can easily walk around while wearing them and even drive (though we don’t recommend doing that for safety reasons). On top of all that, the price is fantastic for the quality of the product.Whether you’re gearing up for a costume event or just having fun, this helmet combines style, comfort, and value perfectly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a durable and affordable option!

This helmet looks fantastic. Definitely looks like it's gone thru a few battles (in a good way, well-weathered), is solidly built, and shockingly comfortable to wear. I have a pretty big head and helmets are often a crap shoot for me, but this one was well worth it (and got it for significantly cheaper than the black series one).

Love this helmet! The attention to detail is awesome! It looks battle-worn and realistic and is sturdy but lightweight. I bought it as a gift and my son absolutely loves it! I didn’t know how much he’d actually use it, but so far he puts it on to play every day. And it was a great price!

Very nice helmet. Fits great and super comfortable. The price point is excellent when on sale. Only complaint is the screw inside the helmet can feel kind of sharp. Still, I highly recommend.
