this pill grinder worked pretty well at first but the pills got stuck in the gears many times. It was also hard for my husband to use since he has arthritis in his hands. It is not easy to clean.

I needed to grind up 10 LARGE antibiotic pills 2x a day for 10 days for our horse after surgery. This grinder was perfect – easily turned them into fine powder readily dissolvable in applesauce. Far more effectively and faster than I could crushing them between 2 spoons or using a mortar & pestle. Great price too.

I have difficulty swallowing pills, and have had for a few decades now. I have used, over the years, pill crushers and grinders of all sorts, from manually operated to battery powered. The batter powered grinders do a good job, but with too many moving parts they fail quickly, and miserably. The manual grinders work well, and are the ones that I pull out and use every time a new battery powered grinder bites the dust. But they tend to be a bit messy. But the CoaGu Pill Crusher Pulverizer Grinder is so easy to use with a crank handle. It alleviates any physical struggle needed to crush some of the pills we take. It has an adjust wheel on the bottom have the unit inside the bottom dish that catches the crushed pills. You can set it to deliver the ground up pills in a gravely form to a more refined granule form. You can drop in the top opening one to multiple pills at a time. Close the opening and then crank until there's no more resistance. Unscrew the bottom dish and you have your ground up pills. Good luck.

I was about to give 1 star because after the first use I was no longer able to crush the pills. then I looked carefully and noticed that the white knob on the inside is actually adjusting the powder size. I turned the knob to reduce the size of outlet and I am now able to crush jumbo pills down to fine powder.

I thought I found a good pill crusher but it has its faults. It doesn’t crush little pills very well, no matter how much you turn the handle. I just take the pill whole. Other than that, it works fine
