Bought these for my six-year old rising Tiger Cub Scout to go to his first summer camp. These shorts are great: they have adjustable, elastic waist bands, and are made of dirt-resistant, fast drying material so you can wash them and they are dry by the next morning (unless humidity is 100%, of course!). Two pair of these is all you need! Pockets are good, and shorts have belt loops. They aren't lined, and weigh next to nothing.
