We have purchased FIVE collars over the span of the last 4-5 years. They last for about 6 months. It is extremely frustrating as the collars are not cheap.When the collar works, it works great. The problem is they just stop working.

This product worked fine on our old chill lab. Not so much so for the wild & crAzy pup.This is our 3rd replacement for her. I contacted customer service for perimeter as they have warranty. They were slow to respond. So I ordered because we couldn't have her not on a collar. They eventually reaponded and offered to reimburse for a portion of what I paid, but never did.When it works it works, we go through alot of batteries for the pup (she's just over a year), probably because she is always trying to cross the line.

Receiver works fine...same as original. Collar material is very narrow and thin and plastic clasp seems delicate.

The house we are renting already had a perimeter fence installed, so we bought a collar to try out for our dog. I was worried it wouldn't connect, or be difficult to hook up. Nope, I just popped in the battery and that was it! Super simple and I get some peace of mind when my pup is outside.

This worked fantastic! My dog got ahold of the last one and it wouldn't work anymore. In desperate need for a new one I almost paid twice this from the company who did our install. I was excited when I found this unsure if it would work. Took a chance and with one day delivery we are back up and running!! The collar looks exactly the same as the one we had before. I opened up the box, installed the battery it comes with as an took it outside to test and heard the beeps! So happy to have this for an affordable price. Great buy!

Had problems right from the start but I needed it so worked with the flashing light (Low battery indicator). I replaced the battery and now it does not work at all. I have multiple collars for this system and they work well. This collar is defective.

I am giving this collar 5 stars because it was shipped fast. I had to return it because the frequency was not listed and it did not work with my IFS which was 10 k. So I can tell you that this one is not a 10 k. But I replaced it with one that was, and I love it. Works great with IFS and costs so much less than an IFS collar. The return credit was incredibly fast also.

I did my homework and shopped around for a good invisible fence for my two shih tzu puppies. Lots of opinions out there. I went ahead and bought the Perimeter Technologies system and 1 extra collar. The system works great! The collars are just about the right size for my dogs (11 lbs and 13 lbs shih tzu's). Batteries 2 months old and still going. I am sure other systems work well too, but most other systems seem to have large bulky dog collars. I highly recommend Perimeter Technologies.
