Lovely little handle. I have not installed it yet, but it comes with everything you need. I will note that the handle does not automatically fall back into its recess. It will stay flipped out until you put it back, defying gravity. Otherwise it seems great. Very sleek and attractive.

Awesome recessed handle that I decided to order for a range box I'm building. Nice and sturdy, and about as comfortable to hold as a squared handle can be.Be very precise when measuring and cutting the opening that this will fit in to, especially if mounting to wood. The screw holes for mounting are very close to the opening you'll need to cut. If you are a bit sloppy in cutting the hole, you can easily end up with a screw splitting the wood out in to the opening (ask me how I know).

If you're using this on a ceiling hatch, it would be perfect - the handle snaps out and back into the recess, so it would stay flat, even against gravity.I was planning on using it for a floor hatch pull, so it's actually slightly annoying that it locks in place so you have to kind of pop it out to really pull on it.However, it turns out it's pretty easy to just pop the springs out, so that the handle swings free. You need something pointy and fairly strong - I used awl.
