I have over 220000 miles on my Town and Country when the belt started coming off when driven in rain. Since replacing the pulley's with the Goodyear package I haven't had any problems and it eliminated a squel that recently started.

Bought this kit to fix the slippage and squeal issues with the serpentine belt used in my 97 Plymouth grand Voyager SE(3.3L). After installation, no more squeaks, and the double sided ribbed belt with the grooved pulleys gives confidence that the belt will not slip again. So, it solved the main concerns/problems.This belt is almost too tight to be installed, making the install a little tricky. Had to flip the fixed idler pulley so that the wider end is inside(closer to the engine), and even then it is a tight fit. No install guide included in the package.Have to wait and see if the tight belt will give wear issues with time.It is a little pricey but gets the job done!

I have a 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan SE and I was plagued by the problem of my serpentine belt always slipping off. I have went through 3 regular belts trying to make the old tensioner work. I got the right before a tropical storm hit my area and I'll say it was my happiest time to hydroplane just for he fact that the belt wouldn't slip off.

My belt kept coming off every time it rained. I was to the point that I was going to get rid of the minivan. My son helped me install the two pulleys and the belt. With the first rain after installing it I made it home with out any problems. It was so nice to drive home from work in the rain and not having to pull over because the belt had once again come off. Problem solved. Thank you for this wonderful product.

My mechanic saw this and asked where he could get more. Double sided belt, good for Plymouth/Chrysler Voyager minivan poor design. Mechanic on previous review was right. Puddles I now splash in. Had to replace Power steering Pulley and pump shaft leaking and shot. Required major surgery. Drove away and hydrolic pressure way up. Steering tight, and belt looks good.Problem not too many around hard to find, but even if a standard belt popped off with a bent rib, you might be miles away from a parts store. Puddles no problems, no squeaks and no burning rubber. Like driving a tire on my accesory belt. Price was worth it. Replaced the tensioner even though the other was new like 3 months. Get this and check your system. Will save you from the dreaded tow truck! :)

I have a 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan SE. The serpentine belt (probably original) was badly worn so I had it replaced by my very competent and trustworthy mechanic (rare indeed!). It seemed to be working fine until one day I went through the carwash and on the way home I lost my power steering and realized almost everything else was shutting down too! The belt had slipped off the pulley. I had it put back on only to find that if it was raining or even sprinkling outside it would cause the belt to slip off. I was told by my mechanic that it appeared to be a 'pulley design defect' for this model and year(s)! If it was raining I was stuck at home! Whenever I was out and about I worried that it might start raining or if I drove over a puddle of water that we would have to be towed home!I researched the problem, spoke with other local mechanics and indeed was convinced that it was a 'defect'. Finally, after much internet review research of the problem, I learned about this kit and read that others who purchased this kit found it to be a successful solution to their problem. I was nervous about (1) purchasing this type of product from Amazon and (2) was just plain afraid it wouldn't work and I'd be out the money. Well, the kit arrived on time in perfect condition. My mechanic had it on in about an hour and a half and it's worked beautifully. No complaints whatsoever. The only thing to keep in mind is that if you install this kit you will have to purchase replacement belts specifically for this kit. Other than that all I can say is now I have "Peace of Mind"!
