this tensioner came on the c5 vette. This vendor was great to deal with. the c6 tensioner is the same with a deeper pully which holds the gator back belt better and prevents belt jumping. the c6 tensioner pulley wheel has higher walls. Thats the only difference.

I had major AC work done last year and lived with a squeaky new belt and idler pulley for a year (2002 vette). This and a new gatorback belt fixed the squeak, despite what all my friends said was a sound I'd just have to live with. easy to install, and the quality was factory good, in fact better because they re-engineered the spring for less corrosive drag and better durability.
