While the general quality seemed fine, we can’t let our kid play with them after the coins tested positive for lead.

I like the coins but I got the wrong size.

Received for free through the vine program, but I'm reviewing this honestly as if I had purchased it.Pros:- Seem to be made of actual metal.- I really love the pouch they come in, it's better made than the coins and the embroidered designs are lovely. It has both gold embroidery and a more subtle pattern embroidered along the drawstring area, in the same red as the pouch.- The weathered effect on the coins is well done.Cons:- The coins are super tiny and ultra thin. I did knock a star off for how thin they are. They're not super fragile or anything, but it's hard to handle them without feeling like they're cheap.- Edges can be slightly rough. Not enough to have any discomfort in handling the coins, but it shows if you look closely at most of them.Disclaimer: I haven't bothered to count the coins, so I can't say for sure if I received 300. They're thin enough to be a bit too annoying to count to bother, apologies.Overall though, these aren't half bad. For my possible uses, I'm more than happy. Factoring in the rather nice pouch with the number of non-plastic coins and I think the price is easily fair.

We always have Chinese themed parties and these made great party favors so that everyone could take a little good luck with them. We know lots of guests carry them in their pockets/wallets, have them in their car or even over the door frames of their houses. These were lots of fun!

These coins are working fine for me as part of creating metal-detecting games in the woods with my grandson. The coins are thin but still create a strong signal with my detector. It is exactly what I was looking for so 2 thumbs up here.

These small coins are very thin, but they are also sturdy and durable. You can bend them by hand, but it will take some force. The coins have a weathered look and a nice weight. They jingle (sound) like change when you hold a few of them in your hand and gentle shake them.
