This is the first saddle that has stayed on my little Bantam Silkies. Tough material. The easiest to put on. Love the shoulder flaps. I have bought several that look just like this saddle but this one works much better. I will get more.

Well I placed your product on one of my hens and added her back into the flock. When I places her back my Rooster attacked her thinking she had a predator on her back and broke her wing and leg. Not sure if she is going to make it.

Does it's job perfectly. I put it on my girl in the morning and take it off at night. It's tuff, seems comfortable and it can stand up against my rooster.

The flaps tend to fold back instead of staying in place nicely on the wings. I'm thinking of cutting them off. Other than that, it's nice and sturdy.

This is a nice well made chicken saddle. Not flimsy material, but not so stiff that it won't conform to the chicken. And the way it is secured seems to keep it on the hen. Also the wing flaps work nicely. My only complaint is that there is only one size and the hen I needed this for is the smallest one in my flock. It is too wide across the back and puckers up, but still seems to do the job. If these were available in multiple sizes, I would give it five stars. As the nights are pretty cold now, I think she actually really likes it.

I have tried to find a product like this for some time. After looking at many listings, reading descriptions, pouring over product reviews I pulled the trigger and tried a couple different products including this one by Cooped Up. This product was adjustable so it let me get the correct fit, was not too heavy, and basically just worked as described.In addition, the quality looks really solid (although I have not had it long enough to truly evaluate) however you know pretty quickly what is cheap quality and what seems to be good. I will post later with any findings after using this product for a few months.All in all, I am very satisfied with this product already and expect to be buying more in the future.
