Polypropylene is a thermoplastic polymer used in a wide variety of applications that can be around water. Nylon is a tough, lightweight, elastic synthetic polymer. Uses of this webbing include diving, carpenter, and utility belts, military and tactical utility, and more! If you need heavy duty webbing that doesn't fold or roll over, scuba webbing is a great choice due to its sturdy, stiff weave. Thanks to its rugged design, this webbing is used to provide safety and toughness. We recommend you use 1 1/2 Inch hardware with this webbing. ( D-Rings, Buckle, Triglides etc. ) These hardware items are designed with a specific size of webbing in mind. Tensile strength is the average breaking point under good conditions at the factory. We strongly recommend that you use no more than 50% of the tensile strength of any webbing.

It’s definitely a good quality and thickness for belts or something where you really need something sturdy, but keep in mind that it is very rigid so you do lose some flexibility
