I really loved this pattern and was making it for my grown son. After I made all the squares and started sewing them together I noticed the seams did not match very well. I checked and every square is perfect! I think it may have something to do with the 3 inch center light and dark strips. Looking closely at the pattern picture I can now see that squares are not perfectly matched. It's still nice, I just prefer perfect.
