I'm a fan of Crank Brothers, love their design and quality - but this pump was completely useless. I probably got a defective unit:- pump gauge (PSI/BAR) did not work at all and kept popping off when trying to inflate tire- burst tank didn't work when connected to tire, when valve was free, some air did come outI'm returning for refund, at this price the unit should work perfectly as advertised.

This would be a great pump if it didn't have the glaring issue I am describing below...I purchased this pump a while ago and had some issues with it seating on my tubeless presta valves. I mainly bought this pump for the Burst Tank feature for when I'm on the road, so didn't think much of the issue since my main pump for the shop is a Topeak JoBlow MTN-X Pump (amazing pump btw). Not sure why I didn't contact Crank Bros right away, but I didn't so that's my bad!Fast forward to about a year later and I purchased a new bike and decided to bust out the Klic Digital Pump again, to keep at work if I need air there. The bike had tubes at first, and the Klic pump had none of the issues that I remembered. It seated fully and leaked no air on both kinds of valved tubes. So I just assumed my previous issues were user error somehow. But lo and behold... Once I switched my new bike over to tubeless and attempted to put air in using the Klic pump, the pump did not seat and just poured air out the sides while attempting to fill my tubeless tires.Disturbed at how much money I spent on a useless pump (for my purposes anyway, and this is a VERY expensive pump!!), I called Crank Bros to ask about the issue. They said that yeah, if the type of presta valve has the shorter thread space at the tip, then this pump will not fully seat on the valve. NOWHERE on the product page does it explain this possible issue... and it seems ridiculous to me that a pump made for tubeless tires (hence the burst tank for seating tubeless tires...) would NOT be compatible with all tubeless Presta valves. Crank Bros did not offer any kind of resolution besides get different Presta valves (why the hell should I have to accommodate a super expensive, poorly designed pump??), so no more of their products for me! What a waste of almost $200... SUPER DISSAPOINTED!Time for a redesign on the pump connection point Crank Bros!! The screw-on valve stem connection is a giant pain anyway so I suggest going to a clamp-on like the JoeBlow MTN X pump uses. Never had an issue with that pump! Also, don't waste your money on adding the burst tank to this pump, if you do buy it, since it would never be able to seat a tubeless tire with the super loose connection anyway!

While construction of this pump and burst tank looks industrial and feels very sturdy, it has been a disappointment. The first pump I received would take over 90+ pumps just build it up to 110-120psi because air would seep out on the fitting of the pump itself where the gauge plugs into. I contacted Amazon, a replacement was sent and same problem. It would just continue to leak air out as the psi got higher and higher. Not only that, but this time, 100 psi would be achieved and it would just plateau. Watching the gauge and I could see the psi dropping constantly. If I tried to use it only as a stationary pump, the digital gauge would pop right off the fitting once I got over 50 psi.Not worth the time, money and headache of buying this pump, only to have these problems and deal with returning it. I was expecting a top-tier pump/burst tank and what I got wasn’t even worth the asking price.

I finally broke down and put out the money to got this pump after being annoyed with trying to inflate my tubeless tires with a regular floor pump. I ordered the digital version and when the pump arrived, I open the box that says digital on the outside only to find the analog version inside the box. I return it thinking it was a mistake made at the factory and order it again. The next week the second pump arrives and AGAIN the box says digital BUT inside the box the pump is analog. My money was returned both times but it wad VERY annoying having this mistake happen twice... It almost feels like a scam. I have never had an issue like this happen with Amazon. I wish there was other sellers on Amazon that sold the item.

Read far too many reviews about similar tubeless air tank floor pumps all with hit or miss complaints. This is a solid tank and pump, granted a little spendy, but the digital gauge is accurate to .5 psi and nice blue backlight is awesome. Very pleased with this pump and tank, for the home mechanic who relies on their bike for transportation this pump is perfect. Also entire pump, and key piece, the valve that goes from pump to pressure tank is METAL, no cheap plastic bs to break, very solid 90 degree throw of lever with detent. Buy once cry once, have used mine for about 6 months now with about 20 times of use setting up tubeless tires for friends and own bike without issue, only takes about 40 pumps to hit max psi and have had no issue setting the bead on 2.4 maxxis minion DH tires. Pump stroke is pretty long and can gain about 1 psi per pump, overall very pleased works without fuss.

Ask yourself, how many times have you purchased a bicycle pump in your lifetime? Not very often, right? So why buy something that you won't be completely satisfied with? This is the most intelligently designed pump and the build quality is second to none. I'm sure I will enjoy using it for years to come. Don't let the price scare you. You will love this pump and all its bells and whistles. And what's wrong with bells and whistles? Don't you deserve them once in a while? Go for it!

This is not a pump, this is work of art! Very precise electronic pressure gauge, nice detachable tank. Pumps up tubeless like nobody’s business. Easy to store and transport. The best pump I ever had!
