This intercooler is half the size of the stock one (smaller). Not happy with this at all.

2005 5.9 Cummins- Excellent replacement! Only issue was mounting A/C condenser on to it....had to use original clips and bolts from old intercooler, however bolts were about 1/8” short. Luckily I found bolts to fit in my scrap hardware bucket. Minor setback.

The manufactures website says that this is a factory replacement but with the aluminum tanks vs the stock plastic ones. When the product it was well packaged but upon opening the box was noticeably smaller in thickness than the stock unit. The stock unit was 2" thick vs this one that is like an 1 to 1 1/4". With the unit being slightly slimmer I had to put some extra rubber spacing at the top mounting points to keep the intercooler from straight and not slanted in once the bolts were tightened. Longer bolts had to be purchased to remount the A/C condenser as the aluminum casting is thicker than the stock plastic. The test will be when the warmer weather hits whether the unit will cool the intake air effectively as the stock thicker unit. The unit fits nice other than that and is working so far. Great price compared to the ones that were $450 +
