This apparently doesn't work in a single mic jack. It has to be a dual mic jack.

This Lavalier mic does a great job picking up my voice even when it is under my chin and not directly in front of my face. The sound it picks up is clear and crisp and it does a great job of not picking up rubbing against clothing. The cable feels like high-quality material and the jack doesn't feel cheap. The clip is sturdy and small. I do wish the cable length was a bit longer but other than that it works great.
