I have tried several shredders but this one works the best. I've used the claw and it doesn't work any better than forks. This Culinary Castle Chicken Shredder works really well. The only thing is I wish it was made of some kind of more permanent material than plastic. I cut up the chicken breasts in to 2 inch chunks and then swirled away. I makes Shreded chicken easily. Maybe it will work on pot roast too.

I ordered this with wondering if it would really work the way it's advertised. It DOES!!! I shredded a chicken for a casserole yesterday and this saved me at LEAST 30 minutes work!!! Even my husband was impressed. I've always dreaded the part of a recipe when I'd have to stand & shred all of the chicken. I know some people would use their mixer but it's such a hassle to set it up & this item is small & can then be put in the dishwasher! I am probably going to order 2 more of these for my daughter & daughter-in-law. Thanks for this product!!!

I buy a lot of rotissery chicken and usually debone and dice it.... freeze it for myself and dog. I decided to try Culinary Castle shredder to shred the chicken after deboning and chilling my chicken I began taking chunks of my chicken and shredding it. It worked perfect! I am able to freeze it or use it as needed in soups, salads, bbq and of course always add a little to my dogs food which she will always eat first... very fussy eater. I am sure this will work beautiful on pork roast and beef just as easy. Can throw in dish washer or hand wash very easy and does not take a lot of storage space and no electric needed! Plus ! Nice gadget, you will be very happy with this.

I make a lot of homemade chicken wing dip during football season. This shredder cut down the time of shredding up chicken by sooo much. I love this shredder and itβs easy to use!
