Scan showed timing retarded on bank 2 only. Replace both bank 1 & 2 valves with these. Started up OK. Drove 25 miles down the highway at 9pm. Truck stalled out. Scan showed new timing faults on both banks now. Items faulty. 300 dollar tow fee because of them. Stay clear.

Bought the truck used 8 years ago with 230k, always had strange running issues. A month ago it threw 12 codes and would barely run. Replaced the driver’s side solenoid and is now running like a new truck!!!

I used both of these on a 2005 f-150 5.4 3v.A little hard to find forms for torque but 30ftlb then 90 degree rotation. From front of vehicle facing the radiator and engine the phaser on the left must be but with the L facing up. A lot of mix up about it. Same for the right side of the engine. Be sure before you do this find too dead center so you don’t have any valves and pistons making out in the cylinder. Grab time in chains make marks by putting the chain together, laying it flat marking one link on one side and two on the other repeat for other chain if you do not already have marks. The rest you can find on a lot of forms. O also if you are working on older 5.4s you need to use channel locks to hold the camshaft.Motocraft phasers are rated to last about 150,000 miles or more with good maintenanceI didn’t see anything out of the ordinary that flagged a poorly made part.

One of the two is working great. The other failed on the second day. The end connector leaked oil and stopped working great

Super cheap and does the job. My 05 Ford F150 5.4L V3 was idling poorly and dying. Look up "dieselling f150" because that was the exact symptoms.I switched out my old solenoids with these and the issue is gone. I can now trade in my truck. You'll also need torx 25 bit and a bit extender as well as a flathead. The hardest part was removing the old gaskets. Took me 2 hours, wasn't rushing.
