Wow this air conditioner is extremely quiet! What a blessing after spending more than a decade using 'old-style' window air conditioners. As you probably know old-style AC's are very loud, they have poor temp control and are expensive to run. The noise made it hard to talk, watch TV, or sleep... Not this one! My god is it ever quiet. It uses a newer compressor called an 'inverter' which is able to ramp up and down smoothly and quietly. And at a 35% reduction in electricity cost! It's highly efficient... Inverter style air conditioners control the temperature in your room very smoothly and evenly. No more chasing temps, (too hot-too cold, etc.) Just right all day and all night. You can run it more often because of the 35% savings.I am not kidding, this newer AC technology is the answer to the biggest problem with window air conditioners of the past. They finally solved the noise problem! You will be amazed. Just get one. (Or two like I did. :)P.S. It also happens to be one of the most aesthetically pleasing AC's I have ever seen. Bonus!

the filter cover front is flimsy like dollar store item, have to be very careful or hinges will break

The A/C product’s features are awesome: Inverter technology; Quiet operation; WiFi connectivity.The only problem is that the inside cover is cheap and flimsy — it breaks too easily (as shown in the pictures).

Insanely quiet. Puts out a very good amount of air. Touch controls. Turns off on its own to conserve lots of unneeded power when room is at the selected temp.

Installation was simple, unit is quiet and running cost seems to be quite reasonable. Works well, no complaints.

I'm really happy with this a/c. It makes only a whisper when operating so having it on while sleeping isn't a problem. I'm not that handy but installing was a breeze (no pun intended). It has really nice features and looks nice too. It's a winner on all counts.
