Was having issue with old shower knobs that were worn and slipped instead of turning hot and cold water on and off. New knobs now grip the stems and perfectly turn on and off with ease.

I have tightened these handles several times and they keep coming loose. its impossible to shut the valve all the way and a bunch of water is wasted.
