Doesn't take much to bend this trap. The trap I had as a kid was twice as durable.

The safety pin clips fail and the unit comes apart when you toss it out. Looks like the hook is not long enough to securely hold the halfs together. When the first one did it I thought it was my fault. After that I double checked the connection and lost half of the second one too. If you use these put a tie between the two halfs so you don't loose them

This trap was convenient to store and simple to assemble when we arrived at the lake to do some crawfish hunting.

We caught minnows the first day we put it in the lake. We just added some bread and a few hours later, the little fellows were swimming in.

I can't seam to catch anything in these traps. I've used them in the river, streams, and ponds. I've used several types of bait. I know that the locations contain minnows and crayfish. Maybe its just me but I won't be lugging these around anymore.
