This valve is worthless. It leaks like a sieve, both out of the screw and out of the channel that is switched off. Save your money. Stay away. I'm not sure how this valve got out of the concept stage and into production.

Did not expect a lot at the price. It is a simple one-tooth hole blocker. Probably works fine under water, but for an above-ground installation it is not acceptable. Tightened down so that it is very hard to turn, it still leaks about a cup out of 20 gal throughflow at 3 psi.I went to a Delta shower diverter valve; but major hassles there, too. Delta sells the valve housing separately and I did not get what I expected, turning into a $150 - frustrating search.
