Did not include the wires or connectors shown in the listing.Color coding of wires shown did not correspond to the actual pin assignments.Luckily I know enough electronics to deduce the proper pin assignments but a beginner may not.

This motor works great, I initially only connected it to 5v power, and it was rotating way too slowly. I quickly realized my error and when connecting to 12v, it rotates at the proper 20rpm.

I use a lot of these motors but the encoder is new to me. To just run the motor connect the red and white wires to 12 volts dc. Not the red and black. I don’t need the encoder but the motor seems to run fine. I ordered two and they are coming from two different places. I hope the other one is the same because they will be right and left drive wheels. There’s a small wheel on the other end that spins for the encoder. I hope that doesn’t cause me any issues.
