Precautions when purchasing memory upgrades.

What is the maximum memory? The total amount of memory that can be installed on the machine.

2. What is the default installation memory? This is the standard memory when the computer is shipped from the manufacturer.

3. What is the number of slots? The number of memory slots available for installing memory modules.

The 4.32-digit version of Windows 10 supports a maximum memory of 4GB as defined in the details column style.

If the current memory capacity is unknown, you can follow the following steps to confirm. Windows Click on "Basic Operating System">"Table">"Control Panel">"System">"Stock/System">. The current RAM displays memory (e.g. 4.00GB of memory).

Mac computing system

To confirm the capacity of the installed RAM, please select the settings defined in the parts list style of this Mac from the Apple menu. The capacity displayed in the RAM installed on the computer in the memory column.

Precautions for adding a memory stick to a computer:

1. Determine the original factory memory parameters. Cannot mix different types of memory parameters for use. Especially, storage disks with different frequencies may not be compatible and can easily cause computer lag, so installing the same frequency is the best! Please note that.

2. The contact part of the memory stick is longer on one side and shorter on the other side to fit the slot and prevent reverse insertion. It is inserted at a 60 degree angle relative to the slot and will fall off when pressed. If there is a 'click' sound, press forward horizontally because it is safe.

3. Preparation before installation: Turn off the computer power, turn on the computer, and use a plugin to remove dust from the memory slot. Use an eraser to wipe off the rubber fingers of the memory stick, remove oxidation, ensure cleanliness, and ensure good contact.

Usually, a short "beep" sound is emitted during startup, while other sounds (long beeps, continuous beeps, etc.) indicate incorrect memory installation. ·If other plugs occur during the cleaning of the chassis and poor contact occurs, starting from step 2 and re plugging the plug will usually solve the problem.

good inexpensive ram to boost your PC a little. Have an older PC that couldn't adjust to 8 meg ram so figured I'd just double the current 4 and worked fine with no major adjustments.

Using this Ram for our HP computer. Our set up is that we are using this PC for streaming in the living room. We have it connected to our TV and Surround Sound Theater. Before the HP, came with 4gb of ram which was causing system to lack some what. This upgrade fix our issues. Along with streaming on our PC, we are able to by pass all these unwanted commercials on streaming and are able to watch movies on DVD's and other platforms that are not NSTB. Get away from you phones and others devices that are hindering you from watching what "YOU". Less than 10 bucks solved all the issues. Many have gotten away from DVD/Blue Ray. But if you are buying these movies on certain streaming sites. What are you going to do if that site can't gain access to the internet or your account expire and/or cancels. You have spent all that $$$ for nothing. My house, we watch what we when we want.

The memory installation went without a hitch. The HP D5850 with Athlon processor booted up with no issues and indicated that all 8 GB of memory was present. I did some 3-D CAD modeling and ran the Cosmos Express FEA program on the models. I had expanded the memory from 4 GB to 8 GB so that I could run these models. Everything went along smoothly for 5 days. On the 6th day the FEA modeling stopped responding. Investigation discovered that only 4 GB of memory was present. I rebooted the PC with no change in available memory. I removed and reseated the memory and rebooted but only 4 GB was present. Apparently half of the memory had stopped working. I re-installed my original four 1 GB memory sticks and all 4 slots were functioning. I returned the 4 memory sticks for a refund as two of the sticks seemed to have experienced infant mortality. I then ordered another 8GB of memory.
