This is super cute and for 22$ it's probably fine for the price... but no part of this set is porcelain or hand painted. The plates, serving tray, cups, tea kettle, and 2 spoons are metal and look factory painted. The tri-level pastry tray is plastic and you put it together each time. The food is all plastic. The tablecloth is a old school cheap polyester feeling with a soft backing. Reminds me of the stuff you bought in the 70's. The carry case is cardboard with metal front latch and handle. The hinge on the back are just taped/glued cardboard-paper material. It will not close correctly if everything isn't placed correctly. I would have much rather had no food included in trade for a metal case to match... or at least a hard plastic case. So 2 stars because the description was inaccurate and misleading and cheaper materials. The girls will love it regardless and for 22$ these days it's probably an accurate price but I would be very disappointed had it been more $$ or if I was expecting it to be as in the description. I don't expect the case to last long and the food to get lost.

This is a very cute set. It’s my niece’s first tea party set of many more to come. I’ve been introducing her to tea time and she loves it, she keeps her pinky out the whole time. This set is ok for a 1st timer set. I love that the dishes are made of good quality metal, I consider the rest of the pieces to be just extras.
