Seems like good quality and it came very quickly. I haven't installed it yet but looks simple enough.

I used this as a stove jack for an Ozark Ttail teepee tent. Get a spark arrestor. I used superglue to glue it to the hole I made in the wall fabrique. I'd suggest making the hole after you glue it onto the fabrique when it's laid out flat. Then cut the hole when the glue has dried. Its not the proper usage of this thing but it was able to withstand the heat from a single walled tent stove pipe so chances are you're good to go with this. Also, don't let the pipe touch flat to the red silicon... It will bubble it if you get the stove any kind of hot relative to it's normal operating temp.

Just had a metal roof put on and our guy we hired to put the roof on didn't use the correct boot for our pellet stove and I didn't want a fire ,so I ordered this boot for high heat temperatures and I believe it's will work great .

It was a bit hard to install, but that might be because I was installing it in a school bus roof, and the roof is curved. I had very little room to screw in the bottom little lip. I wish I'd gone a size bigger than recommended. But, nevertheless, with lots of heat-resistant caulk stuff, it got installed and has stood up to weather, a few fires, and traveling down the road at 70mph for 20 hours. What more can you ask for?

I thought it came with two metal rings. One for the front and one for the inside of the rubber section. It didn’t, so I wasn’t able to use since I couldn’t seal the edges. Couldn’t return since I already cut to size. What a waste of money.

I installed the dektite boot on an rv where I installed a marine small wood stove. I used 3" double wall pellet stove pipe and ran the pipe through the boot, about 5' from stove. The pipe gets very hot, and the boot gets warm, but with about 30 firings so far-it has not caused any issues and has performed as it the description said it would. The only issue I had with ordering this through an outside company through Amazon. Amazon's delivery date and the companies delivery date were off by a week, so I ended up waiting a lot longer for it.
