It would be helpful if this item came with some instructions. It did not have any.I used a pressure cooker to make some compressed, spiced poultry.Steam got into the lid of the item. When you remove it from the cooker, it's going to be HOT so get yourself some good insulating gloves. The container will be HOT after cooking is over.

Got this Deli meat press for my father, he loves it so much that I had to order him a second one, because one is simply not enough to make the deli meat for multiple people, unless you're making it for one person.The quality is good, the press does what it should, so yes I totally recommend this to make your own Deli.
