Dell fails the honor their warranty just a few months after purchase. They clearly have a manufacturing or design defect where the metal hinges require a good amount of torque to operate, but the plastic it is anchored to fails under these conditions. What happens then is the metal hinges prys on your screen when you open the laptop because it's not anchored properly.Dell refuses to honor their warranty, as they can obfuscate and claim it was misuse of the laptop. It was not, under normal use the hinge fails, honor your warranty for your defective designs Dell...
