Your cart is empty.Dried mud, hair, hay, and other debris should be regularly brushed off your blanket. A stiff dandy brush often works best for this. Keeping your blanket clean helps extend its lifespan, as well as help to keep your horse clean and happy. You can also use a damp, soapy rag to remove mud/debris and then wipe your blanket dry. Fleece blankets should only be hand washed and never machine washed. All removable parts should be removed before washing, all velcro straps velcroed together, and your blanket should only be washed in a detergent made for use with horse blankets, or gentle animal-safe cleaners. When washing, use cool water and hand wash gently. Do not use fabric softener with any of our blankets as it will damage their waterproofing and breathing abilities and prevent the blanket from wicking water and sweat off your horse. All of our blankets should be air-dried or line-dried, never put in a dryer. If your blanket becomes nicked or torn, the blanket should immediately be sewn or patched to prevent further damage from occurring.

I got this blanket in reflective orange for my mini who is quite the little Houdini so that in the event she gets out, she's easily seen! I'm impressed with the quality and durability of this blanket. So far, she hasn't been able to weasel her way out of this blanket (another favorite activity of hers) which she typically does with Velcro belly band blankets. The straps hold the blanket in place very well and it doesn't turn or slide around on her stocky barrel shape the way some other blankets do, so she's warm and comfortable outside which is her preferred place to be. I ordered a size medium for her even though she only stands 30" tall and it's a perfect fit. I suggest ordering a size up if you're not sure or in between sizes. As a plus, there are rings on this for a small hood to be attached to!

I ordered this blanket for foaling season. Was looking for pink but, could only find red. Close enough. Well bonus on the tail flap. Love the secure Velcro fasteners. Will be buying again.

This blanket fits my donkey foal perfectly. The Velcro makes it easy to put on with no fuss, and stays put. The blanket stays dry through rain and snow. When it becomes very muddy from the baby rolling on the ground, I wash and dry it in the machine and spray it with Scotchguard, and it keeps its waterproof properties. Another great feature is the multiple reflectors which allow me to easily locate the baby in the ring camera. Great value for the price.

The blanket is made well but hard to keep it where it should be. Really rolls on the back. Not very waterproof. Really like the fit other than the stay put issue.

My mini is approximately 275lbs and I measured and purchased the blanket according to the measurements specified. He was a large. It first perfectly. I’m very pleased.

I purchased this for our miniature donkey, the size was good, but the straps under his belly were too short, we added extensions and it fits great!
