The T-Rex skull is well built and well packed when delivered. The problem I have with it, is that it looks pretty generic out of the box. It needs some serious work to make it look like a real fossil. I spent around 6 hours sanding down the teeth and painting the entire skull. Layer after layer of acrylic paint. I'm very happy with the results. I still have to coat it with a varnish and wrap it up for my sons Christmas present.

I foolishly bought this item when drunk and didn't pay attention to the measurements. When I arrived home from work on the day it was delivered, for the life of me I couldn't fathom what it was. Then I opened the box!The packing was great with very secure filling all round. Getting it out of the box was a struggle due to how secure the packing was but I would much rather that than the item being damaged.My partner is a huge dinosaur geek and a few months ago she had hinted that she would love a scaled model of a dinosaur skull to sit on the living room table. I seen this and had to get it. She absolutely loved it!We have now taken out a new mortgage in order to give Rex a room of his own to go with her fossil collection and I'm now staying away from Amazon when drunk!

Large, heavy wonderful piece. Truely unique and great for a Dinosaur enthusiast. My son is 10 and even though it is not a toy it was his favorite Xmas gift. I know that he won't outgrow it like he would a toy dinosaur. It will be an awesome conversation and display piece for many years to come. Fast shipping, well packed.
