I got this because it’s the narrowest sissy bar available. I wanted one with storage for my son to ride with me. You will have to drill a couple holes to attach it to your bike frame, but it’s worth it. Now I have a spot to put a bag or crate for groceries, and I don’t have to worry about my son falling off the back. Unlike other reviews mine came in perfect condition.To install this I lined it to ensure that the locations where the bolts into the bike frame would go wouldn’t hit anything inside of the frame, under the seat. I couldn’t get both bolt holes in the sissy bar to work because it pushed the sissy bar too far forward, so I drilled holes in between the 2. I then drilled the holes in the frame and installed the bolts, with 3/8” spacers between the sissy bar frame and bike frame and bolted it down.

The parts don’t fit the motorcycle even though the person selling this said that it would fit my motorcycle. The back of the back rest is bent out of shape, and I can’t return this product or get a different one because i was so busy with my life that I forgot about the package and looked at it today and noticed these discrepancies and can’t return it just because im past the return date. I provided pictures, don’t buy this product.

I was immediately impressed by the heftiness of this item. It is certainly well made. I had to refer to the photo on Amazon several times to determine which piece goes in the middle, etc. Perhaps a clearer photo with the instructon would be helpful. I think this is a very good value.
