Stay away from these sellers. They sent used, scrapped up junk that didn’t work. Company sucks.

I installed this on my Harley, it fit perfectly on my Mustang backrest. The only thing I was a bit dissappointed with is the corners of the PVC pieces could be a bit more rounded off but I have ADD when it comes to consistency of look and feel on my bike. This certainly doesn't effect the operation and they are really tucked down in the mounting hardware anyway. Four stars, work fine but could be a bit more finished.

I've bought a couple of pairs of these locking latches. They feel a little different than the ones without locks - the sliders are a bit looser, and they don't latch down as snugly as the non-locking version. I don't really know why - they all seem about the same. It may have to do with the inclusion of the locks - the mechanisms may be a bit different. That said, these work very well, and I like being able to lock the tour pak down when I'm away from the bike for a bit. Most people don't know that the thing is removable, but some do, and it'd be easy to pop it off and drop it into a trunk on a whim. And when the locks aren't necessary, they can be used unlocked and removed more easily. Be sure to use the diagram in the pics of the product listing to get the order of the hardware correct.

After having these a few weeks, the keeper shoe fell off of one while riding. Lost it. They would be perfect if they only stayed assembled.

When travelling on my motorcycle I was always worried about leaving my tour pack on the bike when I stopped to eat or basically any time the bike was out of my sight. I have the removable mounting system which made it very easy for someone to quickly remove the pack and have off with it. These locking devices provide a level of protection and ease of mind during short stops. They also ensure the mounting system stays in place even when riding in rough territory.

This set of Detachable Rotary Docking Latches with Locks isn’t the most solid set of latches I’ve experienced, but they would be good at slowing somebody down. If someone wants your tour pack, they’re likely to get it, but at least with these locking latches someone who’s looking for an easy target won’t find it with these. Made out of machine aluminum with reasonably stout locks, these locking latches will do the job.I’m not particularly enthusiastic about how flimsy they feel but I do believe they’ll hold up and at least slow someone down if they’re looking for an easy mark.
