Bought the axle and had to go on deployment before installing, so was after the 30 day limit on Amazon by the time I installed. By opening the box the part looked like it had come from a junk yard, but painted over. However, I went ahead and installed as I figured it was rebuilt. After installing, I drove the car less than a mile and it was making a horrible noise and worse vibration than the old one that that had a quarter million miles.After getting a new part from Autozone, which worked great by the way, I contacted the seller on Amazon. They said it was over 30 days and to contact customer service. I called customer service and was told they could only offer a warranty replacement, but I would have to pay for shipping of the new product regardless of me receiving a bad part. Would highly recommend anyone to stay away from this brand. You'll have better luck at a junkyard and end up paying less too.

FIRST SET ARE THESE ANDI RETURNED THEM. 2ND SET I HAD THEM INSTALLED AT MY WORK .DANA TIRE AND AUTO IN CHANDLER, AZ AND THEY CAUSED A MASSIVE VIBRATION UNDER ACCELERATION! DON'T BUY.EVEN THE APPEARANCE OF THE AXLES LOOKED CHEAPCOMPARED TO A FVP BRAND FROM A AUTOMOTIVE VENDOR WE DEAL WITH. NEW AXLES LOOKED NEW FROM FVP.DON'T BUY THIS JUNK.YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID BECAUSESELLER DETROIT AXLE IS REFUSED REFUND BECAUSE THEY BEEN INSTALLED.

Absolute trash. And I don't say that lightly or use it as hyperbole, this unit was in fact NOT a new unit, but rather a broken one that was sold. After 6+ hours of work putting it in, I drove for a few minutes to find that this CV axle was in WORSE condition than the one I was replacing, completely wasting my time. Terrible product and terrible quality control.

Item appears used chipping in gear rust on one side threads are poor quality putting on metal and rusted splin shaft side of bolt looked like item was degreesed and remanufactured and painted......update the seller has made this sale right and are awaiting the replacement of the item so they do stand behind the item that is being sold if thier is an issue .

This was a new axle out of the Dearborn factory. At the price of $40, I expected a rebuilt. Nice axle and works fine.
