A little bigger pocket length than anticipated, but a perfect starter mitt for any player! The leather is already soft, so a heavy user will need to replace it after a couple years, but it breaks in quickly when using oil. The extra padding around the first finger is really nice for a deep sunk catch. A great mitt for the price. I will say, a man (or anyone with a larger hand) will have a very snug fit with this mitt if it fits at all. It is adjustable, but you can only make so much room for your hand ;)

I like this glove for catching but it really doesn't seem to offer much protection onthe palm. I'm pretty new to catchers gloves. I expected to have zero stings. If you geta 45mph + pitch to the palm your going to feel it. Maybe this is normal. I try to catch withthe pocket.I'm a dad with medium to large hands. Fits pretty good.

This is a great glove for the price. After looking at several websites Amazon won my purchase with a super low price. The glove is high quality and comfortable. Easily takes the sting of fast pitches away. The adjustable strap is a nice feature. My hand measures about seven inches from the base of my palm to middle finger tip. The glove fits great with room to spare. I'm very happy with this purchase.
