Excellent load-cell scale. Easily reads in pounds or Kg. I tested a few light loads around the house and it works fine. No instruction manual required.Before lifting a $10,000 engine, I opened it up to see what’s inside. I was pleased with what I saw, a solid bar connecting the clevis and the hook - No moveable parts at all between the two, so nothing to fail. That said, I will pick up the front end of the car as final confirmation before lifting a fragile engine.You can also use this horizontally, such as measuring thrust.I’ll update after I use it in the shop and compare accuracy with another known scale.
