This is the first time I’m reviewing anything on Amazon.The tool itself is fine though I don’t need to do any complex circuitry measurements - just basic continuity and voltage, rarely current. It’s slick and seems sturdy. All basic functions work as advertised. I did not check current, pnp and npn and not many do I suppose. The price is also very inexpensive.This is for Pros.Cons.The double page manual shows a picture of this unit - the VC830L which I ordered. but the manual names it as A830L&A830C. The manual - a one double page - is full of basic grammatical errors, typos, and missing letters. (Again, these do not undermine functionality and so materially not critically important).Finally, on the back page it states under 7.6 Measuring Temperature, to set the rotary switch to C (temperature little circle and C) to get the surrounding temp. Well, there is no such function on this dial - I checked it many times.But I don’t think this was in the description when I ordered and, again, it’s not a material issue to me because when I use it I would never need a temp reading and who would, right?So good luck using it.
