The plastic insert anchor that is designed to expand is a bit too stiff, making it not very easy to insert into the bar. If the whole thing expands as you tighten the bolt, I don't know why they made it so large and stuff (twss). Remove some material from the flexible portion to give it more flex and it'd be way easier to install.

Before buying these items I'd bought and tried a cheaper brand of end plug. It was cheap in every way, and was designed in such a way that it would not tighten.This set is clearly and completely better in terms of materials (aluminum), quality, design (functionally and aesthetically), ease of installation, and weight.
