The starter was a perfect fit and seems to be working great. It comes with the attachment screws and bolts, and went together easily. It took only took15 minutes tops, to remove the old one and put the new one on. Good value!

Took old starter out,( Snowblower) and replaced it with this one. To begin with the overall demensions were the same as the oild one however the plastic cap at the end was about 1/2" longer. Installed the new starter and tested it and it would turn but not ingage and turn the enginge over. I removed the starter and removed the plastic cap from both starters thinking the longer one on the new starter might be stoppong the gears from engaging. The plastic cap from the old starter would not fit on the new starter as it was slightly larger in diameter. So I installed the new starter once again, minus the plastic cap. Tried it again and starter engagment was hit and miss but if I pulled on the starter rope while hitting the electric start it would sometimes engage, but would quickly disengage. I checked the flywheel and all the teeth on the flywheel are in great shape. 99% of the time when I hit the starter button the starter just sits there and spins and never engages.Would I buy another starter from here .... not a chance !!!!!

The started worked real good but noticed a free sounding spinning noise. Maybe this is normal, will see how it works out in time. With the 1 yr. warranty, if something develops will let you know. Otherwise for now it starts showblower and no real complaints up to now. Looks like a really nice product.

I have an old Techcumsa 12 hp snow blower that works great. It is hard to pull start it when it is cold so I purchased this product. It didn't come with instructions but found installation information on You Tube.10 minutes to install and now starts the engine in a couple of seconds no matter the temperature. A great product and excellent price

this product came to us in a timely fashion, did not match the mounting holes exactly like the Original starter switch.however, starter motor fit in like it should, when power button is pushed, starter motor turns engine over, snow blower starts. So I am happy with that. when you look at how the switch mounts, it is crooked. But maybe I am the only one anal enough to recognize this.

The package arrived undamaged. The starter came with all the hardware needed to replace the former starter on my Craftsman 28 inch, 9.0 hp snowblower. The old starter stopped working about 4 years ago. As such, I have been starting the snowblower using the pull cord. It usually started on 2 pulls. I am getting older and decided it was time to replace the old starter. I will write an update when installation is complete and adjust my rating accordingly.Update: Completed the installation of this starter and secured it with the included hardware. Installation went along quickly and smoothly.Completed the installation in less than 5 mins. After securing the gas tank, I filled the tank with a little bit of gasoline and checked the oil.I followed the instructions for starting the snowblower with the electric starter. It started with one very short press of the red starting button. I let the snowblower run for about 3 mins. and started it again with no problems. This is a solid product.I will give another update following this winter.
