Purchased and installed a little over a ago…and now I need a new engine! During the install (by a professional), #1 the hydraulic tensioner was defective right out of the box so I had to run to a local shop to pick one up otherwise shop time would’ve cost a fortune waiting for a replacement from seller, #2 the water pump seal was defective and started to leak, at this point seller refunded me for the kit. Fast forward to yesterday, less than 10K miles driven later, the TIMING BELT SNAPPED! And the usdm 2.5L is an interference motor which means???? I’M SCREWED!

The timing belt broke after 5,000 miles with no prewarning. All pullies turn fine--Cheap belt broke causing all valves in engine due to interference engine to bend costing me $4,500. to repair & 2 weeks without car waiting for parts.
