I wanted a good winter boot that is water resistant and warm. These aren't particularly warm, but do accommodate big socks. They also fit tight, even after 3 months it takes a bit of effort to get them on, but once they're on the fit snug which is good for walking in snow/ice. They are surprisingly water resistant. I don't recommend standing in puddles to test them, but stepping through deep puddles has not left my socks wet.

I got these boots in early August. By early October, the fake leather coating was starting to flake off. They looked ugly as a result, but at least they were still functional. By early November, the sole on the left boot was detaching. I had something similar happen to another pair of Dockers, but at least they almost lasted a full year. I will never buy another pair of Dockers boots. I know they aren't supposed to be the most durable of shoes, but it would be nice if their products could last a year. This product is not worth your money.

It may require an added shoe insert, or alternative. The base sole without an insert is rather hard, and in my case bumping it up with a gel insole, then the manufactures insole made them significantly more comfortable. They look and feel great post break in and are easy to clean up with Mink Oil shoe care. Overall I find that they are sturdy, and look good!
