Smaller than expected but that's my fault - I should have read the details (it says 5.6"). It's more of a hard plastic than a rubber so the dogs are making permanent teeth marks already and the surface is rough now. Squeaker sounds like it's already going to stop squeaking soon. Dogs like it though :-)

It did last almost a week. My aggressive chewer has managed to pull the center piece. Not as durable as hoped.

This toy is advertised for aggressive chewers. Well within one hour my 6 month old puppy was able to chew the back cover off. If I hadn’t been watching he’d have eaten it and we’d have been making a trip to the vets to make him vomit. Intestinal blockages are no joke. Supremely disappointed. 🫤

My dog’s had the center park broke off within the first half hour of having a toy. The information said the toy was for aggressive dog, but it’s not they had the squeaky part torn off. I bought two of them. Both of that part is gone on both of the toys not happy with the purchase at all.

The rubber on this is fantastic my strong chewing dog has not been able to bite any of it off. Unfortunately the squeaker wS destroyed in 30 mins. And the paint on the eyes also peeled off within a day or two. My dog loves this toy, but would love it more if squeaker still worked.

Love love love it. How many times did my little fella get a new toy, then go ahead & systematically destroy the poor artichoke, pineapple, snake or koala. Ok maybe being a little silly didn't get an artichoke, problem is any dog lg. Or sm. can destroy anything depending on their brains. My boy likes interactive or a toy that stands the punishment as we use his toys to train as well.

We have a 42 lb puppy that needs to chew on something most of the time she is awake. This 'gator' is hard rubber, and dishwasher safe. It has a good heft to it and can be easily thrown. It doesn't bounce too easily and our dog has to bite fairly hard to get it to squeak. We've not put any food items in it yet. You can smear peanut butter or similar in the teeth, but this could make it messy to throw. After two or three weeks of ownership, its still a favorite go to toy.

I’ll admit, this held up pretty well given my dog’s love for methodically destroying any toy he’s given. The first to go were some of the little teeth, followed by small chunks out of the snout. It’s the perfect size for him, big enough that he can hold it in place but not so big that he struggles to get his mouth around it. The squeaker is pretty unobtrusive, and my guy prefers to chew on the front of the about and not the back half where the squeaker is. He loves to sit and chew and slobber over it for solid chunks of time. We also throw it around the house and play tug with it. A great all purpose toy that still has many more chews left in it!

This is a very durable toy. It is a little heavier than you would expect. My 4 month old puppy is a huge chewer and this keeps her busy for a while. As you can see she even likes to cuddle with it. Easy to clean and so far it has been indestructible. My puppy even throws it around And whacks it against everything. If your dog/puppy is a huge chewer I would highly recommend... or even if you are tired of buying dog toys every couple of weeks . This is a great toy .

I am skeptical about purchasing dog chew toys online, because they all claim to be durable. I took a chance on this gator because it had extra benefits (gum rubbing and teeth cleaning. )I've had the toy now for 6 days. I have 3 dogs, and all 3 (especially the puppy) are heavy chewers. This toy has gone threw some heavy gnawing, tug of War, and a complete beating. I attached a photo of the 6th day of having the toy. You can barely tell that it has been used. I will definitely be purchasing 2 more, because as soon as one drops it the other furbaby jumps in for the steal.I am very impressed with the quality of this you. If you have a heavy chewer I would recommend this toy
