I thought it would be larger, but, I just assumed without actually looking at the measurements, so that's on me. I almost thought about returning it, but I decided to just put my eggs in it and see, and it holds a lot more than I was expecting! It's so cute on my countertop as well - the size I was thinking it would be would almost be a nuisance compared to this in my small farmhouse kitchen.
