They are just as shown...very cute and come with the little ring to store them on. Made of metal so solid. The only thing that might be "inconvenient" is that it takes more effort to put it on than those plastic slip ons, however, they also aren't going to come out since they clip on like a necklace. They are super cute! I just wish they came in more cat colors since I'd love to have some stripey cats to match mine, lol.

The stitch markers are very cute and lightweight, but not the most practical for projects. It's a bit harder to operate these (open the clasp and keep it open) one handed than with plastic safety pin type stitch markers. Outside of that though they're a really fun stitch marker.

These stitch markers are so cute! All six came along with a handy little circular holder. They look just as advertised and feel well crafted. The cats themselves are about 1" tall. They do their job of keeping track of stitches while being adorable at the same time.

These are lightweight, easy to open with one hand and so cute! The lobster claws are big enough to easily grasp for arthritic folks or the carpal tunnel set, and the cats are colorful and adorable! They don't pull the stitches down and they satisfy the collector too! I love cute stitch markers. Good quality. Should last as long as the sweaters I am knitting!
