This is a good quality product. I suffered through another brand, IRO I think, and it was terrible quality, the cap did not fit properly and the level sensor on the bottom leaked into the plug and electrical wires. This Dorman unit appears to be much better quality, though only time will tell about its durability.

I have just ordered my third one. The OEM unit in my 2003 Passat developed a leak after 7 years so I ordered this unit in July of 2010. The replacement developed a pinhole leak one week before the 12 month warranty was up. The company I bought it through replaced it but charged me for shipping. This replacement unit has now developed a similar leak but instead it showed up 3 weeks after the 1 year warranty so I'm stuck buying a new one. Hope it lasts a little longer this time. At least Amazon's price is very good and with Prime membership getting me free shipping I'll try it one more time.Update 12/16/13Well the reservoir went again in the exact same manner lasting maybe 16 months. This time because I had bought it through Amazon Prime it came with the Dorman Lifetime Limited warranty and I got a free replacement so still not a reliable product but easy enough to install and if they honor the warranty I guess it's worth it. Customer service was great at both Dorman and Amazon so I am adding a star.
