Installed exhaust side 09 Vibe while into intake vvt replacement. All good....I'm not sure anything was wrong with the factory unit upon inspection. Changed out anyways while I was in there. Good spare.

Dorman parts will end up destroying your engines, I compared the two phasers, one OEM and the other Dorman, as you can see, there’s a manufacturer imperfection on the pin that’s supposed to hold the phaser flush to the camshaft, as well as the largest imperfection which was the Oil Channel that supplies the phaser itself, installing this leads to a PERMANENT camshaft VVTI code, high spike in idle RPM, that revved my engine up to 2400RPM at idle, hard clattering, and burnt my engine’s valves. DO NOT PURCHASE DORMAN PARTS.
