Yes it fit a volwagen golf city 2007 cable a little bigger than the old one so fit tight in the clips but will fit and work good

Mk4 jetta. Same cable for left and right. So I did both cables for my 2001 vw jetta TDI. The sheathing is bigger than stock but it works good!

Bought for my 2003 VW Jetta GLS. Overall great item for the price. I trust Dorman more than URO brand for VW parts and these appear to be fine quality. The only complaint I have is the sheathing protective material makes the diameter larger than original VW cables so the two hangers attached to the car and the stainless “press clip” that hold the cables need to be slightly opened up and manipulated with strong pliers in order to hold onto and accommodate them. I also found that the aluminum or steel indicator ring which should sit inside the retaining clip space is actually too wide on these cables to sit within the clip gap therefore the clip has to be closed over top of this indicator which makes closing it and snapping it in place even more difficult. That will likely be your biggest struggle.

like any other review its often pointless to review before the item has been worn through, but i get the sense that this one will never wear out for the life of the car.Ive had it in for at least 6 months, its still holding tight, i dont even think i made a follow up adjustment after install. so... fine but ill be sure to come back if it fails out of no where....

This was bought to replace another one I bought on Amazon. The other brand had a collar crimped onto the brake caliper end that pulled through the 2nd day after installation. The Dormant brand is almost exactly the same as the factory cable, with a ball end. Easy install, and has been on my car for over a month with no issues.

The cable casings are slightly bigger in diameter, but not an issue for those that are a bit mechanically inclined . My emergency brakes and regular rear brakes work excellent now. Without proper emergency brake movement the self adjustment for the hydraulic piston doesn't work... now they do.

Perfect fit for my 2001 Jetta 1.8T 4 doors. Fit both sides of the car. Great value. Just be careful removing the 2 clips and open them a bit to fit the thicker new cables.

They worked great on my MK4 Jetta.If my old cables weren’t stuck in the housing this would have been a 10min job. Still it was pretty easy. I wish I had bought these sooner.My parking brake works like new again.

These cables are great. They look identical to the originals. The cable is the same length, strength, design, ends, and functionality. I bought these for an 04 VW Getta, 1.9 Turbo, 4DR, Red Rear Calipers, W/Vented rotors. Both cables installed easily and perfectly. Great Price, I bought one that was listed as Used/ Very Good condition. The box was damaged but the cable was like new. Thank you Amazon.
