It definitely fits the 2005 hyundai elantra. It's a bit tricky as they say "driver and passenger side" lines rather than right and left, and I'm in a right hand drive country. The mounting brackets are all in the right place but someone got confused and there was one that was in the incorrect orientation. Luckily they are easy to remove and flip by hand. The cable has a bit more give than stock and there is a slight rubbery feel when lifting the hand brake. One of the grommets towards the cabin did not seat snug against the entry site.
