As an amateur radio operator, I was looking for something that would allow for easy mounting of multiple masts for different antenna applications. I ran across these and decided to give them a try. These are the perfect solution to mount an additional mast towards the top of the tower. It allows for a firm grip to the tower and does not extend out too far, allowing the mast pole to be closer to the tower. The teeth are nice and will do a great job holding to the tower as well as holding the mast. The material appears to be of good quality and should hold up for many ears to come. In comparison to other clamps like that this I own, I am pleased to see this uses a nut instead of a wing-nut to tighten. I prefer an actual nut that can be tightened with a wrench and believe the wing-nut may not achieve the level of strength needed to tighten it down snugly. Overall, I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone needing a similar application.

These clamps are heavy and well-made. I like that they are reversible for use on square tubing.

I have used these to install a pole on a post.. The max size that it might hold or clamp to is a 2" (outside diameter) post/pole, that will be a tight fit, and I am not sure that you use it to install a 2" to a 2" pole/post, other combinations should be fine. The description needs to be updated to clarify sizes that these clamps will accommodate, as it is, it is confusing and could lead to expectations that are not met.Construction is good, the bolt sizes are larger that 1/4, and look like 5/16. That should be durable enough to provide good service. The metal seems to have a galvanized type coating for rust protection.I think these represent a good value when utilized properly. The description needs to be updated to represent what is being purchased. At the time of this review it is unclear.

These antenna mast clamp are exactly like the ones I got from a different seller, so you have many options there. The quality is good, but I feel they're missing a split washer for each nut. While the bottom of the nut is textured (not sure what that's called), to help prevent it from coming loose, I don't feel those work as well as a split washer would. In any case, split washer, or whatever you like, is easy to add.I got the 4 pack, for the specific purpose of mounting a horizontal bar from my tower, so I can attach a pulley to the end, to pull up another antenna, like an inverted V or even a vertical antenna. My pictures are just an example of how to do this, and you'll notice that not all the nuts are tightened down properly. You'll probably want to test-fit everything, while you're on the ground, so when you get it up in the air, you just have to bolt it to the tower, and not fiddle with getting everything aligned properly. Also, I feel I should mention, that the manufacturer of the tower I have (It's very popular with ham guys), sells an attachment that does exactly what I did with a 4-pack of these brackets, but it's a rather expensive accessory, and these brackets are a much more cost effective solution.

Great clamps for mounting 2 poles together! Honestly, it'd be pretty hard to mess this up. The clamps hold well, the threads are good and secure, and overall the item looks great. Not much else to say other than it just works!

These are nice mast clamps. I'm making a mobile dust collector with a shop vac and cyclone, and wanted a secure way to run a pvc pipe vertically to connect the two. My plan is to clamp the pipe to one of the cart posts using these mast clamps. Will see whether it works or not.

I am an amateur radio operator, and part of the fun of that is adjusting my antenna and mast setup for better performance. This includes switching antennas, trying different types of masts, and in general a lot of mounting and removing antennas.I like that this has independent clamps for the antenna and mast. This means that it is easy to leave the clamp in place on the mast and swap to a different antenna. It also means I can easily move the same antenna to a different mast. Because the clamps are independent of each other, I don't have to worry about both clamps becoming loose at the same time. This translates to far less fiddling, which makes a huge difference when you're up on a ladder.

I used these to mount a ham radio antenna on the roof against a pole I have htere, and they held everything rock solid even through some pretty strong winds, which definitely gave me confidence. The only thing I ran into was the bolts were just barely long enough for the poles I used, so if you have thicker masts, you might need to swap them out for longer ones. Otherwise, super heavy-duty and a great value for a full set of four.
