Nice set of sconces that would look great on any wall with there nicely finished surface.They are well constructed to last a lifetime.Tall enough to look great with taller candles, they function well, go with any decor from primitive to modern!Drip trays are just the right size to catch all the drip from the candles which make them look even better after being used!They are very functional, good quality set, that look fantastic with, or without, any size drip candles.

Simple black metal candle holders just as described. Set of two are included with the screws and wall anchors.I can't use the set since it doesn't fit battery operated candles and you will need to use real wax handles that can be inserted on the prong to hold in place.

I ordered these candle sconces for their historic appearance, and I'm very pleased with them. Each sconce is sturdy, one-piece construction, made of a metal that's probably aluminum but looks like wrought iron. They have prongs for pillar candles and candle shields to minimize drippage from melted wax.There was some uncertainty about the pictures, since one picture shows a small ring inside the upper curve of the sconce and the others don't. In case it matters to you, these sconces have that ring to stabilize the sconce. The sconces are also a bit smaller than they look in the pictures, since my 10" candles are taller than the top of the sconce when they're sitting on the candle shields. But I knew when I ordered them that the sconces were only 11" tall. They're still beautiful.One last thing. While the product description says these sconces can be used for either pillar or taper candles and the pictures show them with taper candles, I was always taught not to use prongs for taper candles. Prongs are more than satisfactory for pillar candles, but tapers are much narrower and usually taller, so they need to be seated into a secure candle base so there's no risk of them falling over. I'll be using these sconces strictly for pillar candles.

I love the simplicity of these sconces, and the fact that they're properly made. I recently purchased some others that were completely improperly welded and they rolled around everywhere or sat off the wall at an angle. These are perfect!
