I have a 2016 Indian Scout. I went to put these on my solo seat because I was having trouble getting the coils that came with the seat on. These are infinitely easier to install than coils. First, they stood too far out and touched the fender. I ended up turning them around so they were facing towards the front of the bike. This works like a charm. I've put many hours in with them installed. So, I wouldn't worry about them snapping while installed like this. Second, the only problem is that they provide no cushioning at all like this. That isn't their fault though. I have no complaints.

Don't waste your time with these cheap springs. The only thing they got right was to send a left and right.
