I had some heavy salt that I could not remove no matter what I used. The salt stain started three years ago on black carpet and got worse every year since. I tried a vinegar mixture and It just smelled like vinegar for two weeks. I had to use several doses of salt chisel but now the salt stain is completely gone and the carpet is soft. I am totally happy with this product.

Didn’t work as advertised to remove salt from carpet even though directions were followed. Would not buy again.
