This is a pretty nice set of faux moss. It's made of a soft yarn, it seems, and it actually looks pretty nice. While not looking exactly like fake moss, it passes pretty well. The green color is very vibrant, which might work depending on the look you are going for. I would have preferred a more natural/muted shade, but this did work just fine for what I was using it for. No smell at all out of the bag. This is a LOT of moss, so good value for the money.

This product was such. Great find! There wa such a large amount in the package, the material is soft, the color is beautiful and the quality is amazing. We used this for fairy gardens at a school event and it was perfect.

Had no idea what I was ordering, but was super surprised once I began working with it. For some reason I thought it was a sheet of moss and when it arrived vacuum packed that is what it looked like. Once opened and pulled out, it fluffs up to be quite a bit of synthetic moss. Once I cut a chunk off and fluffed it, it wrapped around my floral foam so beautifully and wa easy to poke the stems through it to the foam. I also used it to fill small square vases by itself (ran out of foam) and poked the stems into the fluff. The stems stayed in place for my centerpieces the entire event. Everyone thought it was real moss, even close up. I’m going to buy a couple more pkgs in case this stuff goes away as I’m using this on everything I need “moss” for going forward. It’s clean, with no debris everywhere like real moss. Plus, it won’t harden and become brittle over time like real moss. One bag produces a lot of “moss” once it fluffs up. The only drawback is it’s a wee bit difficult to cut smaller clumps off the main bunch and it does seem to catch on everything - even a small hangnail, LOL. But you figure out that soon enough and is still much easier to handle than regular moss.

I wanted a most that I could poke paper flower stems through and this worked great. You get a LOT of this moss in a vacuum sealed container which looks like a lot but once you open it, it gets even bigger. It's like very wiry strands of nylon and the way it clings together gives it a very realistic look. I know the green in my photo looks bright green but it's actually a much for natural looking green IRL.For my project, i was just draping the moss over a doll. So far there has been no color transfer and it's been on the doll for a week. It was easy to put more moss where I wanted more. It's very clingy.That said, that clinginess also means it gets snagged on pretty much everything. An uneven surface in your workspace, it'll get caught. Using wooden tools? It'll probably catch. I didn't realize how dry my skin was until this kept gettng stuck on the texture of my skin. It was frustrating when I thought put I flower in just the right spot only to have the moss pull away because it's caught on my dry skin. It's not a deal breaker though. I'm sure if you wear gloves while crafting, this will not be an issue. The look and the price are worth the slight inconvenience.

I saw some plants in an airport terminal that had living plants on top of the soil below taller plants and thought it looked great so I thought I would try it at home. I like that this is artificial so I don't have to worry about the light conditions for the moss, only the plant in the pot. I think it makes the plant look a lot nicer than just having the soil showing at the top of the pot. My only concern was if I would have to remove the moss each time I watered a plant. I have discovered that I can just pour the water on top of the moss or I can pull it back when watering my plants to check that they are getting enough water. The moss is light weight, spreads easily and gives an attractive finish to the plants I have used it on. This bag will go far in covering the soil under my house plants. I am very satisfied with it.

This came vacuum sealed so at first glance it didn't look like there was a lot in there. But looks are deceiving! The only thing I didn't like is that the Moss is made out of elastic material. It's very stretchy and you can't break it you have to cut it. I'm learning to like it because it does look nice, but I wish it had been made of something more natural and less artificial.

color was a bit darker than picture, same hue/green color. i was disappointed in this fake moss. i was expecting a flock or structure grass texture but all this stuff is a cotton strand that is really long. looks super fake for a fake plant. im going to try it in diorama but im going to add some modge podge or glue to ensure it sticks better together than just a loose string you lay onto art.

I recently received this "Draupnir Fake Green Moss for Potted Plants, 10.6OZ Moss Decor Artificial Faux Moss for Crafts Preserved Moss for DIY Decorative Moss Table Centerpieces Decor Fairy Garden Floral Wedding (300g)" and it's exactly what I needed to "dress up" a faux plant and give it that natural look we all want.After doing some minor redecorating, I ended up with a 4' tall faux plant in my living room. It came in its own "planter pot," but it was very bare-bones looking, so I ended up placing it into a decorative planter. It just barely fit and I needed something to make the top look intentional and more natural (as if the fake plant was truly potted in the decorative planter) and this decorative moss was the perfect way to toss a "blanket of green" over the artificial portions and the whole thing looks perfect now.This moss came in a vacuum-sealed package and took more than a day to get fluffy. Even then, it was still a bit flatter than I expected, but it made little difference in the end. Love the way it looks and am happy with how easy it was to work with. The moss was priced at $13.99 when I placed my order and I have no complaints about it at all.Happy to recommend!
